Simple Radical Prayer

Simple Radical Prayer is a straightforward message about prayer. It can be perplexing and is not something you master. You don’t get ‘better at it.’ Talking to God can be as easy as chatting with a trusted friend or as difficult as expressing the unutterable before a feared and dreaded Monarch.

Prayer should:

• transform – altering our character, purifying us by our consistent encounters with a holy God.
• develop determination and resolve, strengthen faith, and deepen dedication, assuring our confidence in Biblical certainties.
• stretch our perspective, enlarge us, and change the view we have both of ourselves and our world.
• expose us to God’s intervening hand.

There is power through persistent prayer, prayer that is beyond us, bigger than us, prayer by pure-hearted, but less than perfect saintly people, passionate and intense prayer, prayer that we do not even understand, prayer that stretches our perspective of things and calls us into the mysterious ways of God.
