Dr. Jamison L. Work is the pastor of the Candies Creek Baptist Church in Charleston Tennessee, the oldest continuing church of any kind in Bradley County. Pastor Work is a frequent Bible teacher, Revival preacher, FCA speaker, camp pastor, and Conference speaker. He has authored several Bible Studies and two church histories. He has served, or currently serves, on the Executive Committee for the Southern Baptist Convention, the Executive Board of the Tennessee Baptist Convention, the Board of Directors for M.O.R.E. Ministries, University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Baptist Campus Ministries, Cleveland.Net, and CrossRoads of East Tennessee, as well as President and Vice-President of the Cleveland/Bradley County Ministerial Association, and as the Co-Director for Cry Out America in Bradley County.
He has been married to the former Dana Gill since 1985, and they have two adult children who are both serving in ministry. Pastor Work has served as the Lead Pastor in five different churches in 30 years of ministry. He has been the pastor at Candies Creek since 1998.
